SHRI.V.NARASIMHAN (1927-2011)

TRIBUTE TO MY LOVING DAD

COMBINED PRAYER TO THE DEPARTED SOUL!
Thanks for some of the consoling messages sent to me by a few friends who came to know of the demise of my beloved father Shri.V.NARASIMHAN, Retired Public Prosecutor and Legal Adviser, Civil Supplies CID, Government of Tamilnadu, chennai.
He migrated to Goa along with me and my family in 2005 from Delhi, on my transfer to Panaji. He enjoyed the land and the environment. He enjoyed evening walks on the busy Panaji or Mapusa roads. He admired the cleanliness of Goan Roads, in majority of the areas. He appreciated reading the Goan editions of O Herald O, Navhind Times, Gomantak Times and the Times of India. He inspired me to write articles/edits on different topics of Goan interest and priority.Above all, he used to visit the Maruti Temple at Miramar and at Mapusa Shivaji Circle. He enjoyed his haircut with the Tendulkars (mapusa). He preferred eats from Navtaras. He loved Dabolim airport and Vasco/Margaon Railway Stations, that connected him to Chennai and his people.
He was a patient of Dr.J.A.Dias, at REMANSO HOSPITAL, MAPUSA, for a year.
He liked Dr.Borkar at Tonca for his courtesy. He appreciated Dr.Kudsadkar for his quick diagnosis. He always admired Mr.Babush Monsarette for his helping hand to wipe the tears of the poor!
He peeped into the Carnival displays! He was fascinated by the IFFI crowd as an Annual event!
He EXPRESSED HIS GRATITUDE TO the true friends like CHENNEKARS OF MAPUSA, MERWYN FERNANDES AND his family of Aldona, Mr.Rajesh Kumar, of CBI Goa, Mr.SHEKAR PRABHUDESSAI, SP, HQ, GOA POLICE AND MR.VISHRAM BORKAR, SP,HQ, GOA POLICE. My father always carried sweet memories of Goa and its people. He used to
share this with all our relatives at Chennai and abroad. He felt more secure at Goa than any where else.
He had special appreciation for Mr.Digambar Kamat, Honble CM of Goa and also Mr.Gurunath Kelekar, the 'Young in the Old' He had a lot more to talk to Mrs.Anne Zacharias and Dr.Zacharias, the Vice-Chancellor of Goa University. He also discussed Banking with Mrs.Dorris D Souza, General Manager, RBI Goa He liked Goa the Goan Culture and also the Goans for their Love, hospitality and friendliness. He lived in Goa from 2005 to June 2011. He passed away at Chennai on 19th August 2011, after a brief illness.
I REQUEST ALL GOA NETTERS TO PRAY FOR THE NOBLE SOUL TO REST IN PEACE. KINDLY JOIN THE COMBINED PRAYER ON 18TH OCTOBER 2011, on the 60th Day Ceremony.
